Competition Terms

1. Competition format

1.1. Subject to these Competition Terms, we invite you to share photographs of each on buses featuring a campaign run by your Specialist employer by email for a chance to win a Prize as set out in these Competition Terms. 

1.2. Please ensure you read these Competition Terms carefully as your entry into the Competition is strictly subject to these Competition Terms and they detail the circumstances under which we may be able to withhold the Prizes and/or disqualify or refuse entry into the Competition.

2. Entry into the Competition

2.1. You may enter this Competition if:

2.1.1. you are resident in England, Scotland or Wales; 

2.1.2. an employee, agent or director of Talon, Posterscope Kinetic, Rapport, Open Outdoor and AdCity (each a Specialist), 

at the date of entry into the Competition.  

2.2. You must not enter this Competition if:

2.2.1. you are under the age of 18;

2.2.2. you are an employee, agent or director of Global; 

2.2.3. you are a partner or family member of any of those persons referred to in paragraph 2.2.2.

2.3. The Competition commences on the Commencement Date and entries will be accepted until the Closing Date. Global reserves the right to extend the Closing Date at its sole discretion. Notwithstanding the above, any entries which are received after the Closing Date shall be refused unless an official extension has been offered by Global. Any entries which are received after the Closing Date shall be refused. 

2.4. Each entrant may only submit one Format photo per Submission and only one Format featuring an Adverting Campaign may be submitted by each entrant. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. 

3. Submission of Entries

3.1. On or around the Commencement Date, each Specialist will receive a mock-up of an advertising campaign specific to their Specialist company (Advertising Campaign) which is to be featured on the Formats.

3.2. Competition entries must be submitted by sharing either:

3.2.1. a photograph of a bus featuring an Advertising Campaign (Bus Photo);

3.2.2. a selfie of a bus featuring an Advertising Campaign (Bus Selfie);

3.2.3. a photograph of a bus featuring an Advertising Campaign in front of a landmark (for example Big Ben or Piccadilly Circus) (Landmark Photo);

in each case where the Advertising Campaign is featured on either a (i) superside;, (ii) a T-side;  (c) a NRM superside; or (d) a bus rear (together the Formats and each a Format), by email to the Competition Email Address (Submission). 

3.3. There are no fees payable to enter the Competition and no purchase is necessary. 

3.4. By sharing your Submission and any accompanying material with us, you agree to:

3.4.1. assign to us all of your intellectual property rights in your Submission with full title guarantee; and

3.4.2. waive all moral rights,

in and to your Submission and otherwise arising in connection with your Submission to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

4. Judging

4.1. The Submissions will be decided after the Closing Date by an Global employee or representative. 

4.2. The judging panel shall count the number of Submissions made by the employees of each Specialist. The Specialist with the most points (each Submission will be allocated one point) shall win the First Prize. (Winning Specialist). 

4.3. In addition to the First Prize, the Raffle Prizes shall be available to the Specialist who is deemed by the judges to have submitted:

4.3.1. a Submission (which may or may not feature an Advertising Campaign) featuring the most buses in one single shot;

4.3.2. the best Landmark Photo;

4.3.3. the best Bus Selfie; and

4.3.4. the best Submissions of all of the Formats.

(the Raffle Prize Winning Specialist)

4.4. The decision of the panel of judges as to the Winning Specialist and Raffle Prize Winning Specialist (acting reasonably) will be final. 

4.5. The Winning Specialist and each Raffle Prize Winning Specialist shall be announced via social media (Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn) after the Closing Date. The winning Submissions shall be shared thereafter in our promotional material, via our social media platforms and by email to our carefully selected affiliates.

5. Prizes and Publicity

5.1. The Winning Specialist shall receive a prize of a £1,500 tab at a bar or restaurant of the Winning Specialist’s choice (First Prize).

5.2. Each Raffle Prize Winning Specialist will be entered into a raffle (such format to be decided by the Company) to win one of the following:

5.2.1. iPad 9.7” 32gb;

5.2.2. GoPro Hero 5 Black Edition;

5.2.3. Samsung 32” LED Full HD 1080p Smart TV; or

5.2.4. iPhone 8 64gb;

(each a Raffle Prize and together the Raffle Prizes)

5.3. Each Raffle Prize Winning Specialist shall win one Raffle Prize only. The Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the Prizes.

5.4. The Prizes may be utilised by employees, agents or directors of a Specialist over the age of 18 only and its use is at the sole discretion of the Winning Specialist and each Raffle Prize Winning Specialist. Should alcoholic beverages be purchased by the Winning Specialist in its use of the First Prize, such alcoholic beverages should be enjoyed and consumed responsibility and in moderation. Global excludes all liability for any loss or damage suffered by the Winning Specialist or any third parties out of the Winning Specialist’s use of the First Prize. 

5.5. In order to be eligible to win the Prizes, we may ask that you grant us permission to take and use your name, photograph(s) and Submissions, video and/or audio recording(s) of you for use by us to announce the Winning Specialist and each Raffle Prize Winning Specialist of the Competition or on our social media campaigns, promotional material, press release(s), website, or any other forms of print, digital or electric media (together, the Participation). We reserve the right in our sole discretion to withdraw any Prizes to any person who does not wish to, or is unable to, agree to and take part in, the Participation (or if such person is under the age of 18 years, their parent or guardian) on terms which we shall provide in due course.

5.6. By entering the Competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the Submission may be held and used only by us or its agents and suppliers to administer the Competition. We confirm that we shall hold any personal information provided by you in accordance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations.

7. General

7.1. This Competition is owned and operated by Global (herein referred to as “Global, “our”, “we”, “us”).

7.2. By submitting an entry for the Competition, you are indicating your agreement to be bound by these Competition Terms. 

7.3. We reserve the right to cancel, void, suspend or amend the Competition Terms at any time without prior notice and by participating in the Competition subsequent to any revision of the Competition Terms you agree to be bound by such changed Competition Terms. We will inform you of any amendments to the Competition Terms.

7.4. We reserve the right to refuse or disqualify entry into the Competition if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of these Competition Terms. 

7.5. These Competition Terms shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Definitions

In these Competition Terms, the following words shall have the following meanings:

Closing Date means midnight on 11 March 2018;

Commencement Date means 26 February 2018;

Competition means the competition described in these Competition Terms;

Competition Email Address means;

Competition Terms means these Competition Terms;

Prize means the First Prize and the Raffle Prize.
