The Economist launches insect 'grub bar' with Global Live

‘Grubbing’ (sorry, we couldn’t help it!) the attention of commuters at Putney rail station, The Economist launched a grub bar in partnership with Global Live, Global’s experiential division on 12th April to promote awareness of sustainable food sources and, in turn, drive monthly subscriptions.

Situated by the ticket gates, the popular business and finance publication distributed free insect protein bars and sold subscriptions at a special discounted rate of 12 weeks for £12. The stall also included copies of previous editions for South Western Railway commuters to peruse.
Approximately 150-200 magazines & notebooks were distributed on the day.
