Summer Event Targeting with OOH

Summer OOH advertising
Grab your wellies – Glastonbury festival is on us once again, marking the beginning of the UK festival season. Headlining the Pyramid stage this year are Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran, along with other household names, such as Katy Perry. Tickets for this year’s festivities sold out in 20 minutes, so the attendance is expected to be huge.

Last year, our Creative Solutions team helped Aussie Hair Care dominate Castle Cary station, allowing them to reach the masses of festival-goers coming into Glastonbury by train. By targeting this specific audience, they were able to deliver a contextual message in an environment where excitement was high and the dwell increased due to the sheer volume of attendees. Aussie Hair Care will be dominating the station yet again this year – so keep your eye out if you’re heading through Castle Cary this week, assuming the 4G is okay out there…
