Our London Transport Museum Sponsorship

London Transport Museum

If you haven’t already visited London Transport Museum (LTM), then you must! We’re proud to be a longstanding sponsor of LTM and currently there is a fantastic exhibition being hosted in our Global gallery that is a must-see, called ‘Poster Girls’.

LTM explores the story of London and its transport system over the last 200 years, highlighting the powerful link between transport and the growth of modern London, culture and society since 1800. They care for over 450,000 items - preserving, researching and acquiring objects to use in their galleries, exhibitions and other activities.

As LTM’s biggest current sponsor, we’ve supported the Museum for the past ten years. With transport at the forefront of both our businesses, we’ve collaborated on some great projects, including the 150th Anniversary of London Underground, Year of the Bus and Transported by Design – which included our incredible Kids’ Wrapped Bus creative competition in London.

More recently, ‘Poster Girls – a century of art and design’ launched on Friday 13 October in our Global gallery, showcasing over 150 posters and original artworks that celebrate female graphic artists who have designed for London Transport and TfL.

On Wednesday 18 October, LTM’s annual fundraising dinner and auction was held at the V&A Museum and hosted by Mike Brown MVO, Commissioner of Transport for London, with guest speaker Sadiq Kahn, Mayor of London. Approximately 400 business leaders attended from across the transport industry, including Global – and we were pleased to offer the top prize for auction!
