Cadbury turns Manchester trams and London buses Crunchie gold

Cadbury and Exterion Media inflicted the ultimate temptation on urbanites across London and Manchester this month. Cadbury’s latest campaign to promote the Crunchie, involved the wrapping of numerous London buses and two Metrolink trams, to make them appear as giant replica Crunchie bars, moving around the cities. We have no doubt that the bright purple and gold creative, synonymous with the Cadbury Crunchie, formed the foundation for countless chocolate cravings among audiences across both London and Manchester!

These unmissable OOH formats were deployed to create maximum impact for the brand, and hoped to entice consumers by confronting them with the message that Cadbury can provide a taste experience for every occasion; the Crunchie heading up the ‘Thank Crunchie it’s Friday’ arm of the campaign. The promotion not only leveraged on the audience scale provided by these OOH formats in two of the UK’s major cities, but also left a resounding impression on workers who tend to celebrate Friday’s the hardest.
